I'm glad you're here.
I am a Licensed Psychologist with experience dating back to 2007 and a private practice since 2013. I have specialized training in contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy, relationally and interpersonally focused psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness and acceptance, multicultural competence, working with young to middle-aged adults, and people struggling with eating disorders, compulsions, and addictions.
I enjoy working with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I find differences to be an important part of what informs our unique experiences, such as our values, how we make sense of our world, and ways in which we relate to others.
I am an interactive, insight-oriented therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help patients effectively address personal life challenges. I highly value focusing on relational and cultural aspects of identity and experience, and I meet my patients where they are in order to understand them and facilitate their developing, interdependent personhood.
I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each patient. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
